Viola Fisher, 85, Jamestown, ND, died Thursday morning April 6, 2006 at the Hi-Acres Manor Nursing Center in Jamestown.
Viola Schultheis was born June 19, 1920 near Pingree, ND, the daughter of Chris Schultheis and Clara (Keifer) Schultheis. She attended the local rural school where she received her elementary education and grew to woman-hood in the vicinity.
She and Marvin Fisher were married November 1, 1940 at Jamestown, ND. They made their home on a farm South of Cleveland, ND for a few years until moving to a farm North of Cleveland. Following the death of her husband in 1984 she moved into Jamestown where she has resided. She entered Hi-Acres Manor August 13, 2001 where she has resided.
She is a member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church in Jamestown, ND.
She is survived by her daughter, Charlotte Miller, Jamestown, ND; 2 granddaughters, Mary Jo Leland Guthmiller, Hermiston, OR; Sherri Jo (Gary) Pavlicek, Dickinson, ND; 8 great grandchildren, Cody Guthmiller, Drew Guthmiller, Chelsea Guthmiller, Traci Hieb, Joey Gream, Jimmie Gream, Zack Pavlicek, Serenity Pavlicek, 1 son-in-law, George (Pat) Hieb, Lincoln, NE, and 1 sister, Leona Krapp, Buchanan, ND.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, 1 daughter, Sharon; 1 son-in-law, Harry; 1 sister, Katherine and 1 great grandson, Chance.
The funeral service will be at 11:00 AM Monday April 10, 2006 at the Seventh-day Adventist Church in Jamestown, ND with Pastor Dave Stuart, officiating pastor.
Interment will be at the Medina Country Cemetery, NE of Medina, ND.
