Vickie Lea Goos-Chadwick, 48, Wimbledon and Washburn, ND died Saturday night, November 21, 2009 at the Prairie View Health Center in Underwood, ND.

Vickie Goos was born June 18, 1961 at Huron, SD, the daughter of Howard Lee Goos and Beverly Jean (Rook) Goos. She lived in Ortonville, MN, Madison, MN and Revillo, SD and moved to Jamestown, ND in 1972.

She received her elementary education in Jamestown and graduated from Jamestown High School in 1979. In 1981 she entered the Grafton State School as a Med Tech, and in 1987 she went to Valley City State College, later she entered the Interstate Business College in Fargo, ND.

She and Mark Chadwick were married October 17, 1992 at Valley City, ND, where they made their home in Jamestown. In 1996 they moved to Wimbledon. Since 2000 she has worked at Arrowood Prairie Co-op as a Bookkeeper.

She was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Wimbledon, ND. She also was a Clerk of Uxbridge Township.

She is survived by her husband, Mark, Jamestown, ND; her children, Sara, Lindi, Jamie, and Levi Chadwick, Wimbledon, ND; 1 step son, Cody Chadwick, Jamestown, ND; 1 brother, Michael (Kari) Goos, Washburn, ND; and special friend, Lora Morlock, Pingree, ND, who was her designated driver and kept her from doing the chicken dance.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

The memorial service will be at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, November 25, 2009 at the Wimbledon Community Hall with Father Steven Meyer and Rev. Jeff Levy, officiating.

The burial will be made in the Marietta Cemetery at Marietta, MN.
