Shirley Ann Wittmier, 56, Streeter, ND, died Wednesday evening April 21, 2010 at her home in Streeter.

Shirley Mayfield was born January 20, 1954 at Kansas City, MO, the daughter of Bill E. and Ruth Mayfield. She moved with her family Pomona, CA where she graduated from Pomona High School in 1972. She attended the Southwestern Medical Society Academy in Phoenix, AZ.

She worked as a medical secretary for many years in Peoria, AZ. She then went to work as a secretary for Taylor Tours for 6 years.

She and Douglas Wittmier were married August 8, 2003 at Streeter, ND. They made their home in Streeter while she worked at the Fargo Assembly Plant from 1998 until 2009.

She was a member of the St. Luke Lutheran Church in Streeter, the American Legion Auxilary and the Streeter Fire Dept.

She is survived by her husband Douglas, Streeter, ND; 4 sons and 2 daughters, Neil (Talia) Wittmier, Lincoln, ND; Todd Wittmier, Justin Wittmier, Chris Wittmier, all of Peoria, AZ; Amy Borders, Surprise, AZ;
Amanda Wittmier, Peoria, AZ; 8 grandchildren, Jayden, Erica, Chloe,Lane, Katie, Jordan, Brenna and Trent.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

The memorial service will be at 10:30 A.M. Monday April 26, 2010 at St. Lukes Lutheran Church in Streeter, ND with Pastor Chris Hogstad, officiating.

The burial will be made in the Zion Reformed Cemetery west of Streeter, ND.
