We lived only 2 miles from the Wolf farm at Robinson, ND. Shirley was 5 years ahead of me in school bur I remember going to school with her and sister Lenora. Many times we combined travel and they would pick me up on the way to school. Our families often visited each other and worked together with harvest in the neighborhood. Old memories will not be forgotten.

So many incredible memories with such an incredible Lady; Shirley has given myself and I know many others very fond memories from the Ellendale house and laundromat along with the state line house of Earl n Viola's. Then the Pettibone house with the garden, making deer sausage and all the canning in Shirley's kitchen.
Also the gathering around the piano, accordion and singing for lengths of time; very precious memories with you Shirley !

You are and will be truly missed Aunt Shirley !!!
You are at rest now and peaceful !!
Thank you for all of the memories!!

Sister Shirley, my special memories of us doing all things together growing up on the farm, household chores, boarding together in town in winters, singing, planning family reunions, attending class/home town reunions & later all the many weekly phone calls just to chat, inform or discuss something from our school years together. I will miss you dearly & our many phone calls, while remembering all the good times we had reminiscing about school, our family & friends in our lives. My comfort comes from knowing that you are now at peace & that I will see you again later!

Aunt Shirley, you were one of the people in my youth that I truly looked up to and admired. I remember going to Grandma and Grandpas, walking down to see Irene and across the street to your house. You were also one of my godparents . What an amazing person you were and will be missed. Rest in peace
