Robert Feigert, 79, Jamestown, ND died Tuesday evening December 27, 2011 at the Eventide at Hi-Acres Manor in Jamestown, ND.

Robert Feigert was born April 15, 1932 at Streeter, ND, the son of Jacob Feigert and Katherine (Hottman) Feigert. He received his elementary education at the Streeter Public School. He grew to manhood in the vicinity and worked for the Patterson Land Co.

He and Lil Schauer were married June 18, 1961 at Streeter, ND. They made their home in Streeter for 2 years. In 1963 they moved to Jamestown, ND where he worked for the Burlington Northern Railroad for 34 years. On December 5, 2011 he entered Eventide at Hi-Acres.

He was a member of the St. John's Lutheran Church in Jamestown, ND. He was a life member of the Fraternal Order of the Eagles Club and a 50 year member of the Railroad Brotherhood. He enjoyed playing piano, listening to music, working on puzzles and Thursday afternoon coffee.

He is survived by his wife, Lil Feigert, Jamestown, ND; 3 sons, Verlyn (Pam) Feigert, Jamestown, ND; Tyson Feigert, Fargo, ND; Tait (Lois) Feigert, Bismarck, ND; 4 grandchildren, Christopher, Jessica (Brandon) Tripp, Jordan, Amber; and 5 great grandchildren, Braden, Bryson, Jersey, Jorgen and Jeryca.

He was preceded in death by his parents, 8 brothers and 5 sisters. He was the last member of his family.

The funeral service will be at 11:00 AM Friday December 30, 2011 at St. John's Lutheran Church with Rev. Lucinda Lein, officiating.

The interment will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens in Jamestown, ND.

Visitation: 10 - 8 Thursday at the Haut Funeral Chapel in Jamestown, ND.

Prayer Service: 7:00 PM Thursday at the Haut Funeral Chapel in Jamestown
