Milton Iszler, 88, Streeter, ND died Tuesday evening May 18, 2010 at the Jamestown Hospital in Jamestown, ND.

Milton Iszler was born December 12, 1921 at Streeter, ND, the son of Gottlieb Iszler and Mary (Wolt) Iszler. He received his education at the Streeter School and graduated from Streeter High School in 1941. He attended Jamestown College in Jamestown, ND and Westmar College in LeMars, IA.

He and Evanda Bitterman were married May 31, 1944 in Streeter, ND. They made their home in LeMars until 1946. They moved to the farm SE of Streeter where he farmed. Following the death of Evanda, in 1992, he continued to reside on the farm.

He and Elta Schauer were married March 5, 1998 at the Ebenezer United Methodist Church in Streeter, ND. They made their home on the farm.

He was a member of the Ebenezer United Methodist Church in Streeter, ND. He was a 40 year Lion's Club member.

He is survived by his wife Elta Iszler, Streeter, ND; 1 son Virgil (Jocelyn) Iszler, Fargo, ND; 1 daughter Ffolliot (Allen) Spilloway, Centralia, WA; 2 grandchildren, Sara and Jenna Iszler, Fargo, ND; 4 brothers, Thilmer (Dean) Iszler; Bismarck, ND; Harry (Peggy) Iszler, Bismarck, ND; James (Suzie) Iszler, Miami, FL; Norlyn (Shirley) Iszler, Streeter, ND and 1 sister, Florence Asplund, Omaha, NE.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his first wife, Evanda, and 2 grandsons, Greg and Colin.

The funeral service will be at 11:00 AM Saturday May 22, 2010 at the Ebenezer United Methodist Church in Streeter, ND with Rev. Darwin Kopfmann, officiating.

The interment will be made at the Sunset Memorial Gardens in Jamestown, ND.

Visitation: 9 - 5 Thursday at the Haut Funeral Chapel in Jamestown, ND.
3 - 6 Friday at the Ebenezer United Methodist Church in Streeter, ND.

Prayer Service: 5:00 PM Friday May 21, 2010 at the Ebenezer United Methodist Church in Streeter, ND.
