Mildred Iszler, 84, Napoleon, ND formerly of the Streeter, ND community died Wednesday morning November 8, 2006 in the Napoleon Care Center.

Mildred Hilda Roth was born February 3, 1922 two miles South of Streeter, ND. She received her elementary education in the local rural school and attended Streeter High School. She grew to womanhood in the vicinity where she helped on the family farm.

She and Edwin M. Iszler were married September 7, 1939 at Bowdle, South
Dakota. They made their home on a farm near Streeter and Edwin taught School. She was a former member of the Baptist Church and later attended the United Methodist Church, President of the Church Ladies Mission Group and a member of the Homemakers.

Surviving are her husband, Edwin, Wishek, ND, 1 daughter and 3 sons, Valentena Erbele, Streeter, ND, Bruce Iszler, Hunter, ND, Elliot (Alice) Iszler, Big Sky, MT, and Michael D. (Robin) Iszler, Streeter, ND, 9 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren, 3 sisters, Violet Newby, Portland, OR, Ethel Clark, Redding, CA, Luella Wymore, Salem, OR.

She was preceded in death by her parents, step-mother and one son-in-law, Duane Erbele in 2001.

The funeral Service will be at 11:00 AM Monday November 13, 2006 in the United Methodist Church in Streeter, ND with Rev. Darwin Kopfmann, pastor officiating.

Interment will be made in the Streeter City Cemetery, Streeter, ND
