Mavis Lucille Kinzler, 78, of Wimbledon, ND, went to be with the Lord, Thursday, July 17, 2014, at the Ave Marie Village in Jamestown, ND.
Mavis, daughter of Heino and Sadie (Dormanen) Holmstrom, was born May 12, 1936, in Gackle, ND. Mavis attended Neudorf Rural School.
She married Lee Vern Kinzler March 9, 1953. To this union was born 11 children. They made their home in many towns, Gackle, Streeter, Medina, Buchanan, and finally, Wimbledon. Mavis had the great pleasure and privilege of being a stay at home mom until the passing of her husband, September 1983. She then worked at the Wimbledon Café under Agnes Samek for many years.
Mavis was a resident of Wimbledon, ND for 42 years. She was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church in which she participated in the Lutheran Woman's Missionary League (LWML). She enjoyed time spent with other women of the area, usually going to the Wimbledon Café for coffee, where she would catch up on the happenings of residents around the area. She was an avid sports fan and could often be found cheering for her kids and grandkids. She truly enjoyed reading and had a deep love for family.
Surviving are 10 children: Larry (Sue) Kinzler, Fargo, ND; Myra (Mick) Bredeson, Wimbledon, ND; Jay Kinzler, Wibaux, MT; Michele (Arild) Sundeng, Olathe, KS; Tony Kinzler, Jamestown, ND; Sandy Siebert, Albertville, MN; Debi (Lee)Kinzler-Cavin, Yakima, WA; Patti (Curt) Begger, Wibaux, MT; Kristi (Joel) Willson, Wimbledon, ND; Mark Kinzler, Glendive, MT; 22 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren, 2 sisters: Bernice Schmidt, Mandan, ND; Jean (Elmer) Schweigert, Kensal, ND.
Mavis was preceded in death by her parents, Heino and Sadie Holmstrom, husband, Lee Kinzler, 1 brother, Edward Holmstrom, and 1 daughter, Dawn Kinzler.

Interment - 2:00 PM Wednesday @ Sunset Memorial Gardens, Jamestown, ND
