Mark DeCoteau, 49, Jamestown, ND died Friday morning July 27, 2007 at his home in Jamestown, ND.
Mark Alvin DeCoteau was born August 24, 1957 at Rolla, ND the son of Oliver DeCoteau and Mabel (Roussin) DeCoteau. He attended school and grew to manhood in the vicinity.
He entered the United States Marine Corp and served until his honorable discharge June 20, 1975.
He worked in the Rolla and Rolette areas as a welder for many years.
He and Connie Kuhn were married January 8, 1993 at Rolette, ND. They made their home in Rolette until moving to Devils Lake in 1997 where he was a press operator at Leonardo's. In 2004 they moved to Jamestown where he worked at the Gladstone Inn. They have continued to reside in Jamestown.
He was a member of the Basilica of St. James in Jamestown, ND.
He is survived by his wife Connie, Jamestown, ND, 4 children, Mark Laducer, Minot, ND, Salone DeCoteau, Fargo, ND, Coltt DeCoteau, Jamestown, ND, Roxanne DeCoteau, Fargo, ND, 5 grandchildren, 3 brothers and 2 sisters, James (Linda) DeCoteau, Donna J. (Raymond) Houle, both of Belcourt, ND, Marlin (Peggy) DeCoteau, Jamestown, ND, Kenneth DeCoteau, Gail DeCoteau, both of Belcourt, ND, 2 half brothers and 4 half sisters.
He was preceded in death by his parents, 2 brothers.
The funeral service will be at 10:00 A.M. Tuesday July 31, 2007 at the Basilica of St. James in Jamestown, ND, with Father Joe Barrrett, officiating.
The interment will be made in the Highland Home Cemetery at Jamestown, ND.
