Madelyn Neumann

Madelyn Neumann, 77, of Napoleon, ND, and formerly of Gackle, ND, passed away Wednesday, January 8, 2025 at the Wentz Living Center, Napoleon, ND.

Madelyn was born February 2, 1949, in Jamestown, ND, to Stanley and Deloris Fidge. Deloris later married Gerald “Bill” Walsh, who became her step-father. She attended school through the eighth grade. She married William Neumann and they were later divorced. Madelyn gave birth to three children, Todd Fidge, of Jamestown; Amy Neumann, of Minnesota, and Chad Guizzetti, Littleton, CO.

She is survived by her daughter, Amy and son, Chad; and sister, Brenda Kay (Randy) Buettenback, Julesburg, CO.

She is preceded by her parents; step-father, Gerald “Bill” Walsh; son, Todd Fidge; sister, Bonnie Schweitzer; and brother, Ottis Fidge.

The family is planning a private service in the spring with inurnment at Highland Home Cemetery, Jamestown, ND.
