Mabel Jenner, 94, Wishek, ND died Sunday afternoon September 9, 2007 in the Wishek Home for the Aged.

Mabel Henrietta Ogren was born January 10, 1913 in Swede Township on a farm 10 miles North of Kulm, ND, the daughter of John Ogren and Mathilda (Malm) Ogren. She attended the local rural school and attended the Edgeley High School graduating in 1934. She worked for Dr. Breckel for a time in his office in what is now Manor St. Joseph in Edgely. She then attended Beauty School in Minneapolis, MN for 6 months. She operated the Beauty Shop in Kulm from 1934 to 1938. In 1942 she moved to Seattle, WA.

She and Eldo Jenner were married July 7, 1942 in Seattle, WA. She worked for Boeing until Eldo's discharge from the Navy in 1943. They moved to Lodi, where she worked in various shops as a beautician and also modeled for a Department Store in San Francisco. In 1947 they purchased a Hotel/Café in Oakley and in 1973 moved to Brentwood, CA for their retirement. In 2002 they moved Kulm where they have resided. She entered the Wishek home for the Aged in August of 2006.

She was a member of St. Pauls Lutheran Church in Kulm, ND.

Surviving are her husband, Eldo, Kulm, ND, 3 sisters, Ethel Hille, Edgeley, ND; Myrtle Cannedy, Barlow, OH; Harriet Bloomquist, Edgeley, ND and 23 nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, 5 brothers and 3 sisters.

Funeral Service will be at 2:00 PM Monday September 17, 2007 in the Haut Funeral Chapel in Wishek, ND with Rev. Alan Eppen, officiating.

Interment will be made at a later date in the Swede Cemetery, North of Kulm.

Visitation: 2 hours before the service on Monday at the Haut Funeral Chapel.
