Lyle Bollinger

Lyle F. Bollinger, 83, Jamestown, ND died Wednesday December 18, 2024, at the Jamestown Regional Medical Center in Jamestown.

Lyle was born on October 4, 1941, at Linton, ND, the son of Fred and Magdalena (Schneider) Bollinger. He attended school at Herreid, SD and graduated from Herreid High School in 1959. He then attended Valley City State College where he received his bachelor's degree in teaching in 1963. He began teaching at Kensal public school.

He and Claudia Scheurer were married in 1976, at Bismarck, ND. They made their home in Jamestown where he continued to work at Kensal School for 39 years. He then went to work for Airborne Express as a delivery driver for 9 years until he retired.

Lyle attended the Temple Baptist Church in Jamestown, was a member of the Jamestown Amateur Radio Club and a charter member of the Jamestown Classic Car Club.

Lyle is survived by his wife Claudia, Jamestown, ND; and 2 sisters, Della Johnson, Bismarck, ND, Gloria Martin, Chicago, IL.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
