Luella Woehl, 82, Wishek, ND, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, December 19, 2007, at the Wishek Nursing Home.

Luella was born April 27, 1925 on a farm near Wishek, ND, to Willie and Ida (Vossler) Herr. She attended the local rural school where she received her elementary education.

She and Paul A. Woehl were married November 16, 1944 at her parent's farm near Wishek. They farmed 17 miles southwest of Wishek. After Paul's death January 15, 1963, Luella and her children moved to Wishek, ND. She worked at the Wishek Community Hospital as a dietary cook, retiring in 1990. Luella moved to Edgeley in 2001. In October of 2007, after becoming ill, she entered the Wishek Nursing Home.

She was a member of the Zion United Methodist Church of Wishek. She enjoyed cooking, gardening, music, and spending time with children, grandchildren, and her great grandson.

She is survived by her 4 children, Cyndy (Ed) Evernham, Brooklyn Park, MN; Rodney (Cathie) Woehl, Aurora, CO; Beverly (Victor) Weigel, Berlin, ND; Bruce Woehl, Aurora, CO; 3 grandchildren: Erin (Rob) Mack, Robbinsdale, MN; Cristen Evernham (fiancé, Brandon Purdy), St. Michael, MN; and R.J. Woehl, Aurora, CO; 1 great grandson, Cooper William Mack; 5 sisters and 1 brother, Irene Bechtold, Billings, MT; Alma Dockter, Cresbard, SD; Floyd (Francis) Herr, Wishek, ND; Joyce (Chuck) Barbour, Centennial, CO; Dianna (Leon) Adamson, Lodi, CA; and Nancy (Don) Aubin, Harold, CA.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, sisters Marcella and Viola and 2 infant siblings.

The funeral service will be at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday December 26, 2007 at the Zion United Methodist Church of Wishek, with Rev. Marty Toepke-Floyd, officiating.

The interment will be made in the Wishek Cemetery at Wishek, ND.

Visitation - 4:00 P.M. - 7:00 P.M. Tuesday @ the funeral home and 1 hour before service at the church
