Lorraine Kollman, 74, Jamestown, ND died Sunday morning January 17, 2010 at the Hi-Acres Manor in Jamestown, ND.
Lorraine Morlock was born April 27, 1935 at the family farm home near Heaton, ND, the daughter of Martin Morlock and Emma (Bossard) Morlock. She attended Carrington Public School in Carrington, ND. Following her schooling she worked as a waitress in Carrington.
She and Stanley âBud' Kollman were married November 14, 1952 at Moorhead, MN. They made their home on a farm near Bordulac, ND. She worked at the Holy Family Nursing Home and later for the Carrington Hospital as a Nurses Aid. In 1971 they moved into Kensal. In 1978 she worked for Central Dakota Village as a cook until 1988. Following the death of her husband May 16, 1998 she continued to reside in Kensal, in 2004 she was employed at the Kensal Café.
She was a member of the United Methodist Church in Kensal, Senior Citizens; she also delivered food for Community Action. Lorraine enjoyed listening to music and dancing.
She is survived by her 3 children, Todd (Julie) Kollman, Kensal, ND; Brenda Kollman, Jamestown, ND; Scott (Laura) Kollman, Kensal, ND; 3 grandchildren, Cody, Josh and Amy, and 6 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and 3 brothers
The funeral service will be at 10:30 AM Friday January 22, 2010 at the United Methodist Church in Kensal, ND with Pastor Jeff Levy officiating.
The interment will be made in the Kensal Cemetery at Kensal, ND.
