Kyle Benson

Kyle Benson, 50, Jamestown, ND died Friday, April 22, 2022 in Bismarck, ND.

Kyle was born May 6, 1971 at Jamestown, ND the son of Shirley (Thorson) and Edward Benson.  He grew up in Jamestown attending elementary school and graduating from Jamestown High School in 1989.  After high school he worked for Benson-Quinn Elevator, Northern Excavating, Hoffman trucking and currently worked for Altendorf Trucking.  When he wasn’t working, he was helping his brothers on projects.

He enjoyed riding motorcycles, tinkering on vehicles, motorcycle and small engines, riding dirt bikes and especially loved driving his truck.  He enjoyed spending time with his friends and family and he was always there to lend a helping hand along with his contagious smile.

Kyle is survived by his siblings, Kevin (Shelley) Benson; Roger (Kay) Benson; Julie (Tony) Hale, all of Jamestown, ND; his nieces and nephews, Eric (Sherry) Benson, Ryan (Brittany Reed) Benson, Arron (Stacy) Benson, Cody Benson (Bailey Boraas), Natasha (Jeremy Willman) Benson, Caitlin (Jeff) Wilen, Allison Michel, and Lauryn (Mav) Carswell; great nieces and nephews, Cason, Kayden, Blake, Clifford, Peyton, Kamryn, Macie, Jaeger, Jaymeson, Hendrix, Paisley, Ella, Jhett, Brooklyn, Alex; aunts and uncles, Larry (Rachel) Thorson, West Fargo, ND ; Donna (Joe) Collinson, Fargo, ND; Diane (Lynn) Seward, Harlington, TX, Gilbert (Delphine) Benson, Jamestown, ND; and someone very close to Kyle, Tawni Wanzek.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
