Kathy Hansen

Kathy Hansen, 62, Gackle, ND died Monday October 26, 2020 at her home.

Kathy Mogck was born September 22, 1958 in Jamestown, ND, the daughter of Kenneth Mogck and Jeanne Charnetzki. She attended school and graduated from Valley City High School in 1976. She later graduated from nursing school with an Associate degree.

She and Gaylon Hansen were married September 22, 1979 in Valley City where they made their home. She worked as a Registered Nurse for many years, then later at different restaurants in Jamestown. She then moved to Gackle where she worked as a laborer and a private caregiver.

Kathy is survived by 3 children, Trevar (Sarah) Hansen, Valley City, ND; Jordyn Gray, Fargo, ND; Chelsea Grenz, Devils Lake, ND; 5 grandchildren, Sophia, Kallen, Liza and Gable Hansen, all of Valley City, ND and Shania Grenz, Devils Lake, ND; 2 sisters, Lori (Troy) Marden, Grand Junction, CO and Kim (Curt) Roper, WY; and a special friend, Brett Johnson, Gackle, ND. She was preceded in death by her parents and 1 sister, Teri Pierce.
