Justin Wittmier

June 21, 1986 — November 6, 2022

Justin was born on June 21st, 1986 in Jamestown, ND to Douglas and Robyn (Brown) Wittmier but the family moved to Glendale, Arizona in December 1987.

He returned to Streeter, North Dakota as a teenager and lived with his dad and stepmom, Shirley.  He attended Gackle -Streeter Public School and graduated in 2005. He was on the basketball team and loved to play the game. He began playing as a young child. Justin also loved to be outdoors.  He enjoyed the water and boating and he often went hunting with his dad and other family members.

Justin returned to Arizona as a young adult and began a career in building tour buses.  He eventually met and became engaged to Kayla Gluck. They welcomed their beautiful son, Aiden Jay on August 9, 2013.

Justin was a big fan of the Arizona Cardinals and loved to go camping up on the Mogollon rim in northern Arizona. His last trip was May 2021 with family and friends.

Justin left behind his fiancé, Kayla and their son Aiden, his father Doug (Glenna) and his mother, Robyn. He had many siblings, Amy Mathern (John), Neil Wittmier (Talia), Todd Wittmier (Lisa), Amanda Wittmier, Matthew Blevins and Cody Blevins (Courtney). He is also survived by his grandmother, Elsie Wittmier and several aunts and uncles along with numerous cousins. 

Justin also left behind many nieces and nephews: Lane (Faith), Katy (Dustin), Jayden, Chloe, Erica, Dillon, Trent, Bubba, Micah, Jordan, Jena, Brenna, Morgan, Noah and Hannah.

Justin was preceded in death by his stepmom, Shirley, and his younger brother Christopher

 

Justin will be interred on Saturday, August 19th at 1:00pm at the Zion Reformed Cemetery west of Streeter with a reception to follow at Doug and Glenna’s.

 

In lieu of flowers the family is asking for monetary donations for his son, Aiden’s college fund through the Dakota Heritage Bank in Streeter.
