Harry Becker, 61, Ypsilanti, ND died Saturday evening November 14, 2009 at the Merit Care Hospital in Fargo, ND.
Harry was born August 13, 1948 at Jamestown, ND, the son of Theodore and Alma (Deutscher) Becker. He attended the Gackle Public School and grew to manhood on the family farm NW of Gackle.
He entered the United States Army and served in Vietnam from 1969-1970.
He and Linda Kay Thompson were married November 15, 1968 at Jamestown, ND. They made their home in Ypsilanti, ND. He worked for the Stutsman County Road Department for 32 years.
He was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, the V.F.W. and the Eagles Club in Jamestown.
He is survived by his wife, Linda, Ypsilanti, ND; 2 daughters, Kimberley (Glen) Blevins, Rayville, MO; DeAnn Feigert, Fargo, ND; 1 son, Corey Becker, Fargo, ND; 3 grandchildren, Melissa, Ashley and Justin; his mother, Alma Becker, Jamestown, ND; 1 sister, Iva Klose, Jamestown, ND; 2 brothers, Dale Becker, Jamestown, ND; and Clayton Becker, Gackle, ND.
He was preceded in death by his father, 1 brother, Kevin, 1 brother-in-law, Keith Klose, and his grandparents.
The funeral service will be at 10:30 A.M. Wednesday November 18, 2009 at the St. John's Lutheran Church in Jamestown, ND, with Pastor Ruth Kaden, officiating.
The burial will be made in the Sunset Memorial Gardens at Jamestown, ND.
