Gladys Morlock, 92, Jamestown, ND died Wednesday November 23, 2005 at the Central Dakota Village in Jamestown, ND.
Gladys Victoria Gotschall was born November 6, 1913 at Sanborn, Iowa, the daughter of Edward Gotschall and Mathilda (Benson) Gotschall. She received her elementary education in the local school and grew to womanhood in the vicinity.
She and Edwin Morlock were married March 14, 1963 at Sanborn, Iowa.
They made their home in Sanborn where he worked as a farm laborer.
In July of 1970, the couple returned to Jamestown where he was employed at the North Dakota State Hospital. Following the death of her husband on August 11, 1971, due to an automobile-pedestrian accident in Jamestown, she continued to reside in Jamestown where she was a dedicated special care giver for Margaret Binek for over 30 years. She entered Central Dakota Village in 2004
She was a member of the Basilica of St. James in Jamestown, ND.
Surviving are one brother and two sisters, George (Edna) Gotschall, Belleview, FL; Helen Gotschall and Margaret Kamp both of Glendale, CA,
several nieces and nephews, and a special friend Sue Taxis, Jamestown, ND.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, four brothers, Victor, Carl, Wilber, Donald and two sisters, Ebba and Esther.
Funeral Service will be 10:30 AM Monday November 28, 2005 in the Basilica of St. James in Jamestown, North Dakota with Father Al Bitz, officiating.
Interment will be made in the Calvary Cemetery in Jamestown, ND.
