Florence Dockter

Florence Dockter, 72, Dickinson, ND died Wednesday March 29, 2023 at St. Benedict Health Center.

Florence Schatz was born September 7, 1950 at Medina, ND, the daughter of John and Emma (Bender) Schatz. She attended school at Medina, graduating from Medina High School.

She and Kenneth Robert Dockter were married October 5, 1975 at Medina, ND. They made their home in Medina where she stayed at home and raised her family.  In 2009 they moved to Dickinson until moving to Mandan in February of 2018.  Following the death of her husband, she resided in Dickinson, she moved into St. Benedict’s Living Center where she made many friends and acquaintances.

She was a member of Medina Methodist Church.  She enjoyed spending time with her husband and doing crafts.

Florence is survived by 5 children, Robert (Serenity) Dockter, Jamestown, ND; Kimberly (Wyman) Gray, Mandan, ND; Victoria Dockter, Denver, CO; Rosie Dockter, Mandan, ND; Jon (Alyssa) Dockter, Dickinson, ND; 10 granddaughters, Tori, Kylie and Ivey Gray, Jasmine, Janessa, Jesse, Mia Rayne, and Eliahna Dockter, Emma Dockter, and Evelyn.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.
