Ethel Yetterboe, 97, Jamestown, ND died Wednesday morning May 6, 2015 at Ave Maria Village in Jamestown, ND.

Ethel Huebner was born March 7, 1918 in Sydney Township, North Dakota, the daughter of John W. Huebner and Mable L. (Derby) Huebner. She received her education at the local rural school and grew to womanhood in the vicinity where she helped on the family farm.

She and Philip Yetterboe were married July 23, 1941 at Jamestown, ND. They made their home on a farm in the Sydney area. She worked at the Jamestown Hospital as a dietician from 1962 until 1985 when she retired. She also drove school bus from 1972 until her retirement from that in 1985. Following the death of her husband in 1993, she continued to reside in Jamestown. In 2013 she entered the Ave Maria Village Nursing Home.

She was a member of the Church of the Nazarene in Jamestown, ND. She was also active with Christian's Womens, her bible study group, the Homemakers Club and the Hobby Club.

She is survived by 1 son, Duane (Judy) Yetterboe, Jamestown, ND; 3 daughters, Sharon (James) Hatlewick, Jamestown, ND; Shirley (Johnnie) Gorthy, Minot, ND; Linda (Marvin) Schaunaman, Indianapolis, IN; 13 grandchildren; 30 great grandchildren; 2 sisters, Evelyn Taylor, Portland, OR; Gladys Hanson, Jamestown, ND, and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, 1 brother, and 1 sister.

Funeral Service - 2:00 PM Wednesday, May 13, 2015 at the Church of the Nazarene in Jamestown, ND with Rev. Matthew Zimmer, officiating

Interment - Highland Home Cemetery in Jamestown, ND

Visitation - 9:00 AM - 8:00 PM Tuesday @ the funeral home
