Elsie Heller

Elsie Heller, 86, Gackle, ND died Thursday evening August 17, 2006 at the Jamestown Hospital in Jamestown, ND.

Elsie Heller was born June 30, 1920 at the family farm home SE of Gackle, ND the daughter of Samuel Heller and Katherina (Gumke) Heller. She attended the local rural school where she receiver her elementary education and grew to womanhood in the vicinity.

She made her home on the family farm with her brother John and her sister Martha. They lived on the farm until 1976 when they moved into Gackle for their retirement.

She was a member of the Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Gackle, ND.

She is survived by her 2 sisters, Bertha Elhard, Bismarck, ND, and Martha Heller, Gackle, ND.

She was preceded in death by her parents, 1 brother John, and 3 sisters, Ida, Emma and Mary.

The funeral service will be at 10:30 A.M. Monday August 21, 2006 at the Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Gackle, ND with Rev. Russell Pollock, officiating.

The interment will be made in the St. James Lutheran Cemetery, SE of Gackle, ND.
