Ella Pfaff

Ella Pfaff, 87, Jud, ND, died Monday morning June 9, 2008 at the Jamestown Hospital in Jamestown, ND.

Ella Nitschke was born December 19, 1920 at Jud, ND, the daughter of John Nitschke and Margaret (Hummel) Nitschke. She attended the Jud Public School and graduated from Jud High School in 1939. She grew to womanhood and helped on the family farm home SE of Jud.

She and Floyd Pfaff were married October 31, 1960 at Gackle, ND. They made their home on his farm 5 miles SE of Jud. They moved in to Jud in 2004 for their retirement.

She was a member of the United Church of Christ in Jud.

She is survived by her husband, Floyd, Jud, ND, 2 sisters, Clara Nitschke, Jamestown, ND, and Ruth Mettler, Ellensburg, WA.

She was preceded in death by her parents, 4 brothers and 1 sister.

The funeral service will be at 2:00 P.M. Thursday June 12, 2008 at the Haut Funeral Home in Jamestown, ND, with Pastor Bryce Tahran, officiating.

The interment will be made in the UCC Cemetery at Jud, ND.
