Dockter A. Lola

Lola A. Dockter, 87, Streeter, North Dakota died Tuesday evening March 29, 2005 at the Wishek Community Hospital in Wishek, North Dakota.

Lola Robinson was born April 25, 1917 at Central Lake, Michigan the daughter of Edgar Robinson and Bertha (Burdick) Robinson. She received her elementary education in the local school and graduated from the Central Lake High School in 1934.

She and Clifford Pike were married June 12, 1937 at Central Lake, MI. They made their home in Joliet, IL where she was a House wife and raised two children, Charles and Sharon. Following the death of her husband in 1957 she continued to reside in Joliet.

She and Edwin Dockter were married October 12, 1963 in Flint, MI. They made their home in Flint where Edwin worked at a Buick Outlet and she was a housewife. They moved to Streeter in 1975 where they have continued to reside.
She was a member of St. Lukes Lutheran Church and the American Legion Post 265 Auxiliary in Streeter, ND.
Surviving are her husband, Edwin, Streeter, ND, 3 step-children, Kathleen L. Dockter, Flint, MI, Alice J. Dockter, Alameda, CA, Trent (Wendy) Dockter, Flint, MI, 5 grandchildren, 1 brother, Edgar Robinson, Shelton, WA.

She was preceded in death by her parents, first husband, 1 son and 1 daughter, Charles Pike and Sharon Phillips, 4 sisters, Meta, Mary, Agata, Louise, and 2 brothers, Sharold and Victor.

Funeral Service will be at 11:00 AM Monday April 4, 2005 in St. Lukes Lutheran Church in Streeter, North Dakota with Rev. Bob Pestal, pastor officiating.
Interment will be made in the St. Luke Lutheran Cemetery at Streeter, ND.
Arrangements are by the Haut Funeral Homes in Gackle, ND.
