DeNome Woehl, 75, Jamestown, ND died Wednesday night July 28, 2010 at the Jamestown Hospital in Jamestown, ND.

DeNome Johnson was born May 12, 1935 on the family farm North of Kulm, ND, the daughter of Herman Johnson and Fannie (Johnson) Johnson. She received her education at the rural Swede Township school near Kulm. She grew to woman-hood in the vicinity where she helped on the family farm. She also worked for a couple of area farmers, Everett and Elwood Johnson. She later moved to Fargo where she worked at DeLendrecies's Tea Room.

She and Raymond Woehl were married October 4, 1959 at Fredonia, ND. They made their home in Lead, SD. In 1963 they moved back to Fredonia and bought Raymond's parent's farm and farmed there until 1991 when they moved to Jamestown, ND and purchased and operated the Sundowner Motel in Jamestown. After the death of her husband in 1994 she continued to reside in Jamestown.

She was a member of the Kulm Assembly of God Church in Kulm, ND. While in Jamestown she attended the First Assembly of God Church.

She is survived by her 3 children, Charlene (Dale) Denning, Bismarck, ND; Cary (Michael) Kelly, Rapid City, SD; Rick (Karrilyn) Woehl, Jamestown, ND; 6 grandchildren; Dustin Denning, Jenessa (Andrew) Pearson, Cassidy Denning, Krysten Kelly, Kennan Kelly and Rylee Woehl; 3 brothers, Vertice Johnson, Jamestown, ND; Leo (Barbara) Johnson, Kulm, ND; Harry (Dianna) Johnson, Jamestown, ND; 2 sisters, LaVone (Darwin) Woehl, Lodi, CA; Ardella (Roger) Grenz, Spokane, WA.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, 4 brothers, Duane, Arlow, Dennis, Herbert and 1 sister in infancy Arlett.

The funeral service will be at 10:00 AM Monday August 2, 2010 in the Assembly of God Church, Kulm, ND with Rev. Larry Gunther, officiating.

The interment will be at the Assembly of God Cemetery, Kulm, ND.

Visitation: 10-5 Saturday 1-8 Sunday

Family will receive Friends from 6-8 on Sunday at the Funeral Home
