Dennis G. Schauer

Dennis G. Schauer, 65, Streeter, ND died Tuesday January 31, 2006 at his home in Streeter, ND.

Dennis Schauer was born July 6, 1940 Northwest of Streeter, ND, the son of Emil Schauer and Martha (Kuch) Schauer. He attended the Streeter Public School and graduated from Streeter High School.

He and Karen Presser were married March 12, 1966 at Bismarck, ND. He lived in Bismarck where he worked for Northern Improvement Construction Company. He moved back to Streeter in 1986 where he worked at Bill Hofer Sand and Gravel. He retired in 2002 and continued to live in Streeter.

He is survived by his children, Kimberly Goehring, Lincoln, ND; Craig Schauer, Bismarck, ND; 8 grandchildren, and 1 brother, Stanley Schauer, Streeter, ND.

He was preceded in death by his parents and 2 sisters, Erma and Karen.

The funeral service will be at 1:00 P.M. Saturday February 4, 2006 at the United Methodist Church in Streeter, ND with Rev. Darwin Kopfmann, officiating pastor.

The interment will be at the Streeter City Cemetery, Streeter, ND.

Arrangements are with the Haut Funeral Homes in Gackle, ND.
