Darlene A. Giesbrecht, 68, Jamestown, ND died Sunday October 15, 2006 at the Jamestown Hospital in Jamestown, ND.

Darlene Anderberg was born February 26, 1938 in Jamestown, ND, the daughter of Fred Anderberg and Helen (Zaun) Anderberg. She received her elementary education in Jamestown and graduated from the Jamestown High School in 1956. She grew to womanhood in the vicinity.

She and Frank Alvarado were married October 1, 1957 in Atlanta, GA. They made their home in various states while he was in the military

She and Harold Giesbrecht were married 1984 in Jamestown, ND. They made their home in Jamestown where they have continued to reside.

She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Jamestown, ND

She is survived by her husband, Harold, Jamestown, ND; 1 son, Joe Alvarado, Jamestown, ND, 3 daughters, Julie (Lupe)Vasquez, Penhook, VA, Connie (Dave) Martinez ,Waco, TX, Penny (Joe) Romero, Waco, TX, 11 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, 3 brothers and 2 sisters, Richard Kaloustian, Jamestown, David Kaloustian, Ypsilanti, ND, Gregory Kaloustian, Bismarck, ND, Patricia Dicus, Billings, MT, Jacolyn (John) Fowler, Holliday, TX.

She was preceded in death by her parents and 1 daughter, Vickie.

The Funeral service will be at 10:30 AM Friday, October 20, 2006 at St. John's Lutheran Church in Jamestown, ND with Pastor Dennis Ellingsen, officiating pastor.

The interment will be in the Highland Home Cemetery, Jamestown, ND.

Visitation: 9-9 Thursday at the Funeral home
Prayer Service - 7:00 PM Thursday evening at the Funeral Home.
