Corinne Colette Coleman, 66, Gackle, ND died Monday afternoon February 14, 2011 in the St. Alexius Medical Center in Bismarck, ND. She had been a patient since February 12.

Corinne Rivinius was born August 5, 1944 on the family farm 2 miles north and 1 mile east of Gackle, ND the daughter of Conrad Rivinius and Frieda (Meisch) Rivinius. She received her education at the Gakcle Public School and graduated from Gackle High School in 1962. She later attended and graduated from Portland State University with a Bachelor degree. She worked for the state of Oregon as a social worker helping families and children. In 1997 she moved back into her parent's home. After semi-retiring she worked part time at the Gackle and Jud Post Offices.

She attended Grace Baptist Church in Gackle. Reading, gardening and cooking were her passions. She devoted her time and herself to her daughter Rhea and granddaughter Romina.

She is survived by 2 daughter, Loni (Gary) Fox, Danville, CA; Rhea Coleman, Gackle, ND; 2 grandchildren, Shane and Romina; 1 step-granddaughter, Ashlee; 2 brothers, Merril (Bev) Rivinius, Bismarck, ND; Ivan (Rita) Rivinius, Gackle, ND; 2 nieces, Diane and Sieara and 1 nephew, Slay.

She was preceded in death by her parents and 2 brothers, Darrel, in 1942, and Kevin, in 1945.

The funeral service will be at 11:00 AM Saturday February 19, 2010 in the Grace Baptist Church in Gackle, ND with Rev. Tim Blackman, pastor officiating.

Interment will be made in the Gackle Cemetery, Gackle, ND (spring)

Visitation: 9-8 Friday at the Haut Funeral Chapel in Gackle.
