Clarence Kapp, 69, Jamestown, ND died Wednesday November 4, 2009 at the Jamestown, Hospital in Jamestown, ND.
Clarence Kapp was born June 4, 1940 at Crystal Springs, ND the son of Jacob Kapp, Sr. and Mary (Gardner) Kapp. He received his elementary education in Tappen, ND. He entered the United State Army February 5, 1957. He was discharged February 4, 1959 at Ft. Lewis, WA with the Rank of PFC.
He and Gloria Wentz were married November 13, 1960 at Leads, SD. They made their home in Fargo for a short time before moving to Tappen where he was a Truck Driver and then to Vancouver, WA, where he was employed as Diesel Mechanic. In 1988 they returned to North Dakota and he worked for Mayer Truck Line until his retirement and has continued to resided in Jamestown. Following the death of his wife September 27, 2009 he has continued to reside in Jamestown.
He was a member of St. Johns Lutheran Church in Tappen, ND and the Christ of the King Church in Jamestown.
Surviving are his, 2 sons, Scott Kapp, Jamestown, ND, Todd (Celyn) Kapp, Minneapolis, MN, 1 granddaughter, Staci, his brothers and sisters, Bill (Clara) Kapp, Crystal Springs, ND, Loraine Binder, Steele, ND, Jake (Nona) Kapp, Dawson, ND, Ted Kapp, Tappen, ND, Larry (Connie) Kapp Dawson, ND, Linda Kapp, Tappen, ND, Karen Marzolf, Eldridge, ND and Dale (Teresa) Kapp, Dawson, ND, 1 brother-in-law, Oscar Hoffman and 1 sister-in-law, Linda Kapp.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, three brothers, Walter, Eugene and Daniel, one sister Betty, two brothers-in-law, Ruben Binder and Donnie Marzolf.
Funeral Service will be at 1:00 PM Saturday in the Christ The King Church in Jamestown, ND with Rev. Matt Sprunger, officiating.
Interment will be made in the Fisher Cemetery at Tappen, ND
