CinChona “Connie” Schulz, 92, Moorhead, MN formerly of the Streeter, ND community died Tuesday June 19, 2018 at Ecumens Evergreens of Moorhead.

Connie Reich was born February 7, 1926 on the family farm in Burnstad, ND, the daughter of John Reich and Katherine (Bertsch) Reich. She attended elementary school in Burnstad and graduated from the Streeter High School.

She and Fred Schulz, Jr. were married September 19, 1947 at Streeter, ND. They made their home on a farm 5 miles west of Streeter where they raised their family and moved into Streeter in 1983 where they had continued to reside. Following the of death her husband May 2, 2007 she continued to reside in Streeter until 2010 when she moved to Edgewood Vista in Fargo, later moving to Ecumens Evergreens in Moorhead.

She was very active and held numerous offices within the following organizations: Ebenezer United Methodist Church, UMW, Youth Fellowship, American Legion Auxiliary and Senior Citizens Club.

She is survived by her 3 children, Joleen Brenneise, West Fargo, ND; Rick (Joannie) Schulz, Streeter, ND; Wayne (Kaye) Schulz, Streeter, ND; 7 grandchildren, Melanie Dewald, Fargo, ND; Missy Brenneise, West Fargo, ND; Talia Wittmier (Neil), Lincoln, ND; Nora Frueh (Dave) Bismarck, ND; Saundra (Michael) Sperle, Fargo, ND; Jonathan and Michael Schulz, Streeter, ND; 4 great grandchildren, Jayden Sperle, Streeter, ND; Erica Wittmier, Lincoln, ND; Hadley and Harper Frueh, Bismarck, ND.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, 1 son Perry, 2 daughters, Lavonne and Cindy, along with Cindy’s husband, George and their daughter Joni, 5 sisters and 7 brothers.

Funeral Service will be at 10:00 AM Saturday June 23, 2018 in the Ebenezer United Methodist Church in Streeter, ND with Rev. Hazel Behrens, officiating.

Interment will be made in the Streeter Cemetery, Streeter, ND.

Arrangements are by the Haut Funeral Home.

Visitation: 1-8 Friday at the Funeral Home in Jamestown

Prayer Service: 7:30 PM Friday at the Funeral Home

In Lieu of Flowers donations can be made to Ebenezer United Methodist Church in Streeter or the Streeter City Cemetery, Streeter, ND.
