Christina Rae Johnson, 25, Buchanan, ND died Monday afternoon June 27, 2005 near Mapleton, ND due to an automobile accident.

Christina Grabinger was born July 10, 1979 at Jamestown, ND, the daughter of Micheal Grabinger and Jeannette (McCarty) Grabinger. She attended Roosevelt Elementary School and graduated from Jamestown High School in 1997.

She worked at the Anne Carlson Center in Jamestown until 1999 when she moved to Kulm, ND where she worked at Tazarek Insurance. In 2003 she moved to Buchanan where she worked at Newman Signs and later at Shady's Restaurant in Jamestown.

She was a member of the Basilica of St. James in Jamestown. Christina will be missed by her family and friends. She was a bright spot to everyone who knew her, always helping wherever she was needed. Her smile will live on in all our memories. Her hugs will be treasured. Christina enjoyed life to the fullest. She loved the outdoors, camping, cycling and was learning to play golf and just playing with her children. Christina enjoyed her own business as a Home Interior Decorator. She took much pride in helping all her friends and family to make their houses become homes.

She is survived by her parents, Micheal and Jeannette Grabinger, Jamestown, ND, her fiancé, Wade Readel, 2 children, Colin Timothy Johnson and Cara June Johnson, all of Buchanan, ND, 1 sister and 1 brother, Julie Ann (Jeremiah) Gackle, Burnsville, MN, Micheal Jerome JR. (Angi Axmann) Grabinger, Spearfish, SD, 3 nieces, Marisa, Aliyah, Linnea Gackle, all of Burnsville, MN, her paternal grandparents, Robert and Lois Grabinger, Jamestown, ND, 9 aunts, 8 uncles, 29 cousins, and her special friends, the Readel family and Erin Huus.

She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Regina Hagen and Daniel McCarty, and 2 uncles, Tim McCarty and James McCarty.

The funeral service will be at 10:30 A.M. Friday July 1, 2005 at the Basilica of St. James in Jamestown, ND. The interment will be made in the Sunset Memorial Gardens at Jamestown. The funeral arrangements are by the Haut Funeral Homes in Jamestown. The prayer service will be at 7:00 P.M. Thursday at the funeral home Public Visitation - will be from 9:00 A.M. - 9:00 P.M. Thursday
