Bruce Docken

Bruce Docken, 67, Jamestown, ND, died August 19, 2019 at Sanford Hospital in Fargo, ND

Bruce was born January 18, 1952 in Minneapolis, MN the son of Arthur and Dorothy (Hilger) Docken. He grew up in Mound, MN and attended New Brighten High School; after high school he attended Alexandria Technical School until 1972 and Williston Technical College from 1992-1994.

Bruce was a mechanic in Powers Lake, ND.  He moved to Tioga, ND where he went to work for Midcontinent Cable.  He was married to Linda Olson until 1984, they had two children Chris and Maria.  

He and Debra Davis were married October 31, 2000 at Jamestown, ND at they made their home in Jamestown.  He worked at Goodrich for 15 years then he worked at the Anne Carlson Center.  He was employed at Walmart part-time up until the time of his death.

Bruce enjoyed motorcyles, kayaking and the Halmark Channel.

He is survived by his wife, Debra, his 2 children, Chris Docken, Jamestown, ND; Maria (Patrick) Kellam, Moorhead, MN, their children Padraig Kellam and Damon Docken; 2 stepchildren, Jordanne (Mark) Brekken, Wyndmer, ND, their children Brooke, Lilly, Jeremy Lee & Meadow; Burnett (Glenn) Pfarr, Fargo, ND, their children Anthony and Lacy; and 3 siblings, Butch, Bill, and Rose.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

It was Bruce’s wish that no services be held.
