Bradley Robert Nasset died November 4, 2007, due to injuries sustained in a traffic accident. Bradley was born on September 10, 1952, in Elgin, North Dakota to proud parents, Robert and Shirley (Prince) Nasset. Brad grew up on the family farm north of Regent, ND. After graduating from Regent Public School, he attended North Dakota State University for one year pursuing a career in Agricultural Economics. In 1971, he enlisted in the US Army, where he spent two years as a medic. In 1974, Brad returned to NDSU for one more year before joining his father in the family farm operations. At age 21, he married his high school sweetheart Cheryl Gion and they took over the farm. He was joined in a partnership by his brother David a few years later. In 1989, Brad and Dave were named North Dakota Pork Producers of the Year. Later, Brad became president of the ND Pork Producers Association. When not running a hog operation and farming with his brother, Brad enjoyed playing softball, camping, teaching confirmation, singing, and spending time with family and friends. Brad was also instrumental in helping the Cannonball Company get started in Regent. He was the first manager of the company, a position he held for several years. Those remaining to share the legacy of his life are four sons and two daughters: Eric (Julene) of Dickinson, ND, Scott (Katie) of Regent, Brent of Chicago, IL, Joe and Leah of Fargo, and Sarah of St. Cloud, MN. Brad has two grandchildren, Anna Mae and Ruby Jane of Regent. He is also survived by his sister Cynthia (Wes) Rogers of Inver Grove Heights, MN, and his brother David (Marie) of Bowman, ND, along with several nieces and nephews. Brad is preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Shirley Nasset, grandparents Leonard and Jessie Prince, and grandparents Magnus and Mabel Nasset. Brad will always be remembered for his kind heart and his energetic and entrepreneurial spirit. Funeral Service will be at 2:00 PM Saturday November 10, 2007 in St. Henry's Catholic Church in Regent, North Dakota with Father Chad Gion, officiating.
