Bonnie Lea (Bleibaum) Walters, 55, Laurel MT, went into the Lords hands on December 6th 2011 at St. Vincent's Hospital in Billings MT, due to surgical complications.
Bonnie was born September 12th 1956 to Willis and Virginia (Bruflat) Bleibaum in Jamestown ND where she grew up and graduated from high school. She was blessed with her son Travis. She married Donald Petersen and was blessed with 2 more sons, Jason and Jerome. Bonnie attended Pipestone Community College where she graduated as a meat cutter in 1991. In the same year she moved to Williston ND to work as a meat cutter and later met her soul mate. In 1994 Bonnie united as one with Randy Walters, and gained 3 daughters, Roxann, Rachel, and Jessie. In 1995 they moved to Wildrose, ND where they owned and operated the Wildrose Grocery Store. Ten years later they moved to Harvey ND where she enjoyed caring for her grandchildren. In 2009 they moved to Laurel MT where she lived a full and happy life.
Most of all Bonnie enjoyed spending time with her family. She also liked to read, sew, and bake. She had a love for animals and was very compassionate to others. Bonnie was a devoted Christian and enjoyed spending time with her church family. Bonnie truly blessed all that knew her. Her unselfishness and strong character were inspirational.
Bonnie is survived by her husband Randy Walters, Laurel, MT; her children, Travis (Sara) Ova, Englewood CO; Jason (Teri Jo) Petersen, Wildrose ND; Jerome (Ida) Petersen, Wildrose ND; Roxann (Steve) Dean, Williston ND; Rachel (Travis) Johnson, Williston ND; Jessica (Sam) Vernon, Voltaire ND; 17 grandchildren, 4 brothers, and 3 sisters, Jeannie (Lloyd) Booth, Port Orchard WA; Richard (LuEtta) Bleibaum, Fergus Falls MN; Phillip Bleibaum, Jamestown, ND; Jay (Reyna) Bleibaum, Portland OR; Cathy (Randy) Beck, Bismarck, ND; Larry Bleibaum, Portland OR, and Holly Dahlseid, Tempe, AZ, and 27 nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents, and 1 brother, Curtis Bleibaum.
The funeral service will be at 2:00 PM Sunday December 11, 2011 in the Haut Funeral Chapel in Jamestown, ND with John Farnes,officiating.
Interment will take place Monday at the North Dakota Veterans Cemetery at Mandan, ND.
