Arby Lanning

Arberdella (Arby) Lanning, 67, Jamestown, ND died Saturday evening May 20, 2005 at the Jamestown Hospital in Jamestown, ND.

Arby Schultz was born April 19, 1938 at Gackle, ND, the daughter of Fred Schultz and Martha (Schock) Schultz. She attended school and grew to womanhood in the vicinity.

She and Ray Fox were married February 27, 1959 at Napoleon, ND, later making their home in Maryland.
She and Paul Lanning were married December 21, 1962 at Aberdeen, SD and made their home in Jamestown. In 1966 they moved to California. While in California Arby attended college and graduated as a Certified Dental Assistant.

She later moved back to Jamestown, where she enjoyed bingo, crafts, and having coffee with her friends. Arby, most of all, enjoyed being with her 6 grandchildren and great grandchild.

She is survived by her children, LaRae Boyer, Jamestown, ND, Dawn (Tom) Rost, Devils Lake, ND, Mary Jo Dillingham, and Scott Lanning, both of Jamestown, ND, 6 grandchildren, Jason Boyer, CO, Corey Boyer, GA, Shelby Boyer, Jamestown, ND, Tanya Rost, Dustin Rost, both of Devils Lake, ND, Ryan Dillingham, Jamestown, ND, 1 great granddaughter, Bridgette Harkness, Devils Lake, ND, and 1 brother, LeRoy (Buddy) Schultz, Fargo, ND.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and 2 brothers, Merrill and Elmer.

There are no services planned.
