Angeline S. Wilhelm, 88, Jamestown, ND died Tuesday morning August 31, 2010 at the Jamestown Hospital in Jamestown, ND.
Angie was born September 26, 1921 at Woodworth, ND, the daughter of George and Belle (Olson) Govig. She attended school and graduated from Woodworth High School. She attended the Fargo Business College and worked at a construction company in Fargo. She later went to work as an accountant for a construction company in Chicago/Seattle and Anchorage. She returned to Bismarck where she worked at Missouri Valley Motors.
She and Fritz Wilhelm were married at Bismarck, ND. They made their home in Bismarck until 1962 when they moved to Gackle where they owned and operated Wilhelm Chevrolet. In 1980 she moved to Bismarck and worked as an accountant for the Burleigh County Senior Adult Center. She retired in 1989 and moved to Phoenix. In 1991 she moved back to Jamestown and has continued to reside here.
She attended the Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Gackle, was an avid reader, loved crossword puzzles, and also enjoyed the game shows, Jeopardy and Millionaire.
She is survived by her son, Tom (Lynn) Wilhelm, Jamestown, ND; 2 grandchildren, Bill Randall, Jamestown, ND; Carley Randall, Bismarck, ND; 1 great grandson Kade, Jamestown, ND; and 1 special niece, Laurie Veitch, Phoenix, AZ.
She was preceded in death by her parents, 1 brother and 2 sisters.
The private family memorial service will be at 10:00 A.M. Friday September 3, 2010 at the Haut Funeral Chapel, Jamestown, ND, with Pastor Bryce Tahran, officiating.
The interment will be made in the Highland Home Cemetery at Jamestown, ND.
