Alvina Beisenstein

Alvina Beisenstein, 92, Jamestown, ND died Wednesday evening June 29, 2016 at Ave Maria Village in Jamestown, ND.

Alvina Schmidt was born July 10, 1923 at Leola, SD the daughter of Reinhold Schmidt and Mary (Becker) Schmidt. She attended school in Lehr, ND where she received her elementary education
.
Alvina has lived in Ashley, Wishek, ND, Minnesota and Aberdeen, SD. Alvina did housekeeping and maid services in the various places where she lived. She moved to Jamestown in 1993 and lived at the Gardenette. The summer of 2007 she moved into the Rock of Ages and later moved to Ave Maria Village where she has resided.

Alvina enjoyed doing embroidery and some crocheting in her younger years. She does enjoy family get-togethers. She also had a great since of humor.

She is survived by 1 daughter and son, Fay Reule, Oakdale, MN, Mitchell Reule, St. Paul, MN; 2 grandchildren, 1 sister, Irene (Marvin) Hochhalter, Steele, ND.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Lyle, 1 son Lyle and 1 brother Walter.

Funeral Service will be at 11:00 AM Tuesday July 5, 2016 in Good Shephard's Chapel at Ave Maria Village in Jamestown, ND.

Burial will take place at the Lehr City Cemetery, Lehr, ND.

Visitation - 1 hour before services.
