Allan "Duff" Kirby

Allan ‘Duff’ Kirby, 69, Streeter, ND died Thursday, September 26, 2024 at his home in Streeter.

Allan was born August 28, 1955 in Spokane, Washington the son of A. Roy and Millie (Rader) Kirby. He was raised in the Tiger, Washington area attending Ione elementary school and graduating from Selkirk High School in 1974.

He joined the US Navy in 1974 at San Diago, CA, serving aboard a naval destroyer as a Machinest Mate 2nd Class- MM2- with a rank of E5. He was honorably discharged at Portland, OR in 1977. Following the Navy, Duff began his career as a truck driver, working as an owner/operator from 1977 until his retirement in 2016. He moved to Streeter in March of 2024.

Duff is survived by his mother; 6 brothers, Chet (Tina), Doug, Terry (Lee), Mike, Steve (Marie), and Matt; 1 sister, Cindy; and his nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father and one brother, Denny.
