Albert Pfaff

Albert Pfaff, 85, Jud, ND died Wednesday evening October 11, 2006 at the St. Rose Care Center in LaMoure, ND.

Albert was born January 7, 1921 on the family farm near Jud, ND, the son of Henry Pfaff and Lentina (Fode) Pfaff. He received his elementary education in the Bluebird Township Country School and grew to manhood in the vicinity where he helped on the family farm.

He and Viola Fregien were married June 26, 1946 in Gackle, ND. They made their home on the farm where Albert was born near Jud. He farmed with his father until his father's death in 1968. He continued to farm until his retirement in 1986 when they moved into Jud.

He was a member of the United Church of Christ in Jud having served as Trustee, Treasurer; he was in the Choir and was Janitor for the Church.
He also was a charter member of the Jud Lions.

Surviving are his wife Viola, LaMoure, ND, 2 sons and daughters-in-law, Delvin (Karen) Pfaff, LaMoure, ND, Arlyn (Rhonda) Pfaff, Jud, ND, 5 grandchildren, Brandy, Nathan, Justin, Aleisha, Sephra, 1 great grandson, Noah, and 1 sister-in-law, Anna Pfaff, Jud, ND.

He was preceded in death by his parents, 1 granddaughter and 1 brother, Melvin and 1 sister Anna.

Funeral service will be at 10:00 AM Monday October 16, 2006 in the Haut Funeral Chapel in Jamestown, ND with Rev. Joan Swanson, officiating.
Interment will be made in the Jud UCC Cemetery at Jud, ND
Visitation - 1-8 Sunday at the Funeral Home
