Adolph Job, 91, Wishek, ND died Wednesday January 31, 2007 at the Wishek Retirement Home in Wishek, ND.
Adolph Job was born October 14, 1915 at Kidder County near Dawson, ND, the son of Jacob Job and Caroline (Entzi) Job. He received his elementary education at the local rural school and grew to manhood in the vicinity where he helped on the family farm.
He and Lena Reuer were married September 8, 1938 at Streeter, ND. They made their home on a farm south of Dawson, ND where they farmed until 1979 when they moved into Napoleon, ND for their retirement. After the death of his wife in 1990, he continued to reside there. In September of 2002 he entered the Golden Manor in Steele, ND and in 2003 he entered the Wishek Home for the Aged and has continued to reside there.
He was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church in Napoleon and was a member of the Church Council and he was also on the Township Board.
He is survived by his daughter, Darlene (Gordon) Walth, Wishek, ND; son Leroy Job, Bismarck, ND; 5 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, daughter-in-law, Connie, 2 brothers and 3 sisters.
The funeral service will be at 1:30 P.M. Monday February 5, 2007 at the Trinity Lutheran Church in Napoleon, ND with Rev. Richard Hagenstuen, officiating.
The interment will be made in the Napoleon Cemetery at Napoleon, ND.
Visitation: 12 - 5 PM Sunday February 4 at the funeral home in Wishek, and one hour before services at the church.
Arrangements are by the Haut Funeral Homes in Wishek, ND.
